INTERESTING INFO: in the scene where 'Darry' hits 'Ponyboy' and he runs out of the house, you can see him run from room to room as if through the wall. The leather jacket that both Matt Dillon and C. Thomas Howell wore at various points in the film. This is the one which was used in the 'burning' scenes.

The patio and concession stand at the Admiral Twin Drive-In. The railing remains that was there when filming took place. It hasn't changed much!
